Brief Overview
The Celtic religion existed from the 4th Century B.C. It was mainly spread over Europe and extended into some of Asia. The centre of the Celtic religion was Gaul, which was a region of Western Europe during the Iron Age. The celtic religion was transcendent. Julius Caesar invaded Gaul and took over the Celtic religion. This eventually led to the demise of the religion in the 6th Century AD.
